HMCA is proud to provide accessible and inclusive education by pledging resources to fund students who would otherwise be unable to attend through the Scholarship Program. The Scholarship Program has provided robust financial assistance to diverse, engaged, and passionate students from all over the Asia-Pacific region.
As a Scholarship Recipient, students will receive not only financial support, but also mentorship from the HMCA Executive Board before the conference to help prepare for the committee sessions. During the conference, Scholarship Recipients will be celebrated at a special luncheon with members of the Executive Board. Following the conference, Scholarship Recipients will join a growing network of HMCA alumni all over the Asia-Pacific region.
All scholarships are need-based; they are intended to make the HMCA experience accessible to students of all socio-economic backgrounds and reduce financial barriers to participation. Below you will find two application forms: one for full scholarships and a separate form for partial scholarships. Partial scholarships will be granted on a rolling basis, however, full scholarship applications have a hard deadline. See below for more details on the deadlines.

Partial scholarships:
Partial Scholarships will be awarded to students who show financial need, a strong interest in HMCA, and a dedication to similar academic pursuits.
Partial scholarships are for students who may need some financial assistance to attend the conference. If awarded a partial scholarship, your delegate fee will be waived.
The partial scholarship application is less intensive than the full scholarship application and does not require you to submit a video for the application.

Full scholarships:
Full scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate significant financial need and an exceptional academic passion for the educational mission of HMCA.
Full scholarships go beyond the scope of just the delegate fee; this can include flights and travel expenses.
If you apply for a full scholarship, but are not deemed eligible, your application will then automatically be considered in the partial application pool. You will be notified regarding your eligibility for both a full or partial scholarship at the same time.
